Before the masses showed up for Formula 1, many Austin news sources forecasted traffic problems. What they didn’t forsee was the collective reaction to solving Austin traffic congestion. Several creative transportation ideas emerged from Formula 1’s 12 hour prediction of traffic delays, but one stood out – what if Austinites traveled by Gondolas?
While it’s a bizarre idea, the cable cars system would be cheaper than laying roads, undisruptive to natural barriers like the Greenbelt and Barton Creek, as well as resolve traffic delays ususally due to road construction. Are you convinced yet?
