The Downtown Farmers Market is most known for its inaccessible parking, so what better way to secure parking than go to a farmers market that has it? We’re talking about the new location in West Lake Hills. The Truck Farm Farmers Market held its grand opening on Thursday, March 4th, at the northeast corner of Bee Caves and 360. Austin 360 interviewed their market manager Amy Ingram who says that "local producers will be selling vegetables, fruits, eggs, meat, seafood and cheese, as well as flowers, honey and some specialty prepared foods."
If you missed this date, don’t worry; they’re planning on having it open every Thursday year-round from 3 to 7 p.m. rain or shine. The other surprise is that it will also play host to many seasonal events such as Easter-egg hunts in April, watermelon-eating contests in July and pumpkin-carving in the fall.
