UPDATE: Touch-A-Truck 2019 CANCELED
We are sad to announce that, due to field conditions and the threat of severe thunderstorms, Touch-A-Truck 2019, scheduled for May 11, has been canceled. The over-saturated field and expected inclement weather raises safety concerns for attendees. This year’s Touch-A-Truck will not be rescheduled.
Any tickets sold for this year’s event will be honored for Touch-A-Truck 2020. As a fundraising event, all ticket purchases support SAFE services. We are grateful for your donation and appreciate your support.
Organizations like SAFE rely on annual fundraisers like Touch-a-Truck to support much-needed programs on the Austin Children’s Shelter campus. Please help them continue to raise funds they will be missing by the cancellation of this event by supporting their mission. Donate Today!
What is Touch-A-Truck?
Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event that provides an opportunity for kids of all ages to come to Camp Mabry and explore the vehicles they’ve seen in movies, books, and just driving around town. From fire trucks and ambulances to backhoes and bulldozers, Touch-A-Truck has them all! This year’s event will also feature food trucks and a Kid Zone complete with a petting zoo, face painting, barrel train rides, and more. Check out the photos from last year’s event!
How Much Are Tickets?
The generosity of community volunteers allows the Touch-a-Truck event to keep the low ticket price of $5 per person for children 17 and under and $10 for adults 18 and over, no ticket necessary for 1 and under. Limited quantities of VIP Admission tickets are $25 per person which includes VIP parking and early entrance to the event at 9:00 AM for those eager to be the first to honk the horns.

In a partnership with SAFE, the event volunteers and sponsors are dedicated to raising funds to help children and families who need a safe place to call home.
