Austin’s #1 Top Workplace Realty Austin Steps Up for Austin Children’s Shelter Annual Fundraiser for Fun-filled Family Event on May 13, 2017 at Camp Mabry

AUSTIN, TX — Realty Austin, the #1 independent residential real estate brokerage in Austin, is proud to announce they are the Presenting Sponsor with H-E-B Tournament of Champions of the 7th Annual Touch-a-Truck event benefiting Austin Children’s Shelter, a program of SAFE, on May 13, 2017 from 10:00AM until 3:00PM at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas.

Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event that provides an opportunity for kids of all ages to come to Camp Mabry and experience a wide variety of vehicles to play on while learning about the automobiles and how they help serve their communities. 2017’s Touch-A-Truck event will also feature live music, food trucks, and a Kid Zone complete with giant slide, petting zoo, face painting, and barrel-train rides. The generosity of community volunteers allows the Touch-a-Truck event to keep the low ticket price of $5 per person. Entry fees into the event will have a direct impact on children, young adults and families receiving services at the shelter. Limited quantities of VIP Admission tickets are $25 per person include VIP parking and early entrance to the event at 9:00AM for those eager to be the first to honk the horns.

Angela Glode, Chief Development Officer of SAFE Alliance said, “We welcome Realty Austin and H-E-B as our Co-Presenting Sponsors this year to help spread awareness and raise money for the SAFE programs which save lives for our Austin area’s youth and families. It is our hope that our marquee sponsors will influence our communities to participate in the event and help more families at the Austin Children’s Shelter.”

In 2016, The Touch-a-Truck event at Camp Mabry had a total attendance of 5,500+ attendees and Realty Austin helped raise $115,000 in ticket sales and sponsorships. Check out 2016’s event photos! Realty Austin agents and staff will again volunteer their time and energy at the Touch-a-Truck event to make the fundraiser a success for Austin Children’s Shelter and the families SAFE programs serve. In a partnership with SAFE, the event volunteers and sponsors are dedicated to raising funds to help children and families who need a safe place to call home. The goal of the event is to raise more money than ever to cover the growing costs of providing basic needs, quality care, and services at the shelter.
