Realty Austin Honors its Tribe with 2016 Achievement Awards

Austin’s #1 Top Workplace Announces Outstanding Agents at End-of-Year Ceremony

AUSTIN, TX — Realty Austin, the #1 independent residential real estate firm in Austin, honored its top real estate agents at the company’s winter party and awards ceremony. The brokerage of the future celebrated the achievements of their 365 agents and 35 support staff at its annual red carpet event.

Inspired by the diversity of the Realty Austin family, this year’s James Bond-themed event was set with a majestic Moroccan vibe at the JW Marriott Austin. The company is proud to have this team represent Realty Austin all over the world.

Realty Austin Individual Top Producer Awards

Based on overall sales, Realty Austin’s no.1 individual top producing agent Lisa Muñoz sold over $32.7M in 2016 and was awarded top honors. The Central Austin Top Producer has tripled her business from $11.7M to $32.7M since joining in 2011.

Realty Austin’s no.2 Top Producer, Brian Copland, owned his own brokerage until he joined the Realty Austin team in 2012. His sales have steadily climbed and more than doubled from $11M to $26.7M in 2016 since he joined.

Realty Austin’s no.3 top producer, Adam Walker, ran his own brokerage until he joined the team in 2014. The Central Austin Top Producer increased his business 50% from $18.5M to $25.2M in 2.5 years.

Since joining Realty Austin in 2012, Realty Austin’s no.4 Top Producer Burt Dement more than tripled his business from $8.6M to $24.9M in 2016 for the Southwest market.

Round Rock top producer Jason Taylor has more than doubled his business from $11.7 million to $24M in 2016 since he joined Realty Austin, earning him the no.5 Top Producer award.

Todd Grossman earned the no.6 Top Producer slot this year with $23.8M in 2016. Grossman, who joined the company in late 2008 and plugged into its Leads program in 2009, has closed over $175M to date in real estate at Realty Austin.

Westlake top producer Tracy Picone tripled her business from $8.3M to $23.3M in 2016 when she joined the Realty Austin team, earning her the no.7 Top Producer award at the company.

Todd Bailey, joined Realty Austin in 2010, and quadrupled his business from $4.8M to $20.1M for 2016.

Round Rock agent Chris Tinnell joined the Realty Austin team in 2014, and tripled his business from $6M to over $19.7M in 2016.

Aaron Nann, joined Realty Austin in 2011, Nann has been a perennial Top Producer, earning $19.4M for 2016.

Since joining Realty Austin in 2014, Melanie Fenelon has more than tripled her business from $5.9M to $19M.

Realty Austin Top Producer Team Awards

Selling more than $33.6 million, the no.1 Top Producing team at Realty Austin is Mark and France Clausen of the Southwest market center. Since joining the company in 2010, this husband-wife team from Dripping Springs has increased their business 9 fold from $3.7M to $33.6M in 2016.

Jane Hume and Erin Rost, have quadrupled their business from $4.8M to $20.1M in 2016 since they joined the company in 2012.

Sarabeth Peterson and Jordan Johnson have closed over $58M at Realty Austin since joining the team in 2014. In 2016 the team closed over $19.8M

Realty Austin Diamond Club Awards

The Realty Austin Diamond Club is an exclusive group of agents who close over $10M and teams that closed over $15M in 2016. 300 of the 11,000 Realtors in Austin sold over $10M in real estate this year. To put this in perspective, only 3% of the realtors in Austin call Realty Austin home, but almost 20% of the $10M+ producers work at the company.

Realty Austin Rising Star Awards

The Rising Star of the Year award series recognizes a top achiever who has been on the Realty Austin team less than two years and achieved the biggest increase in sales since joining.

Realty Austin Central Rising Star is Sara Warner. Warner grew her sales 606% to $6M in 2016. Warner joined Realty Austin in 2015, and immediately became a strong lead closer which paid huge dividends over the last 12 months.

Realty Austin East Rising Star is Gillian Robb. Robb grew her sales 822% to $6M in 2016. Earlier this year Robb attended the company’s Ninja training, and implemented its techniques into her business plan by focusing on adding value rather than income.

Realty Austin Northwest Rising Star is Drew Bouffard. Bouffard grew his sales 226% from $4.5M to $16.3M in 2016 by strategically cultivating Realty Austin leads earning him top producer awards month after month since joining the company.

Realty Austin Southwest Rising Star is Jana McCool. McCool grew her sales 872% to $5.2M in 2016. Earlier this year she took advantage of all of the Realty Austin systems and became a model practitioner of Ninja mindset and became one of the top lead closers company-wide.

Realty Austin Westlake-Lake Travis Rising Star is Sharon Murray. Murray grew her sales 475% from $2.5M to $7.5M in 2016. By embracing Realty Austin methodologies and the Ninja way, Murray surpassed her goal of $6M and received her GRI.

Realty Austin Outstanding Service Awards

At the red carpet event, Realty Austin also awarded its team members with Superlative Awards for outstanding performance in unique areas.

The Realty Austin Humanitarian Award winner Jason Taylor has a heart of gold for his generous charitable contributions to the company’s mission. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Taylor achieved over $25M in sales this year, volunteered loyally, and contributed a substantial portion of his earnings.

Each year, the Realty Austin Team Spirit award is given to an agent who embraces the culture, exudes a positive attitude, and is a cheerleader for Realty Austin. Salma Manzur was the 2016 recipient who exemplifies everything that is truly #realtyawesome from her adventurous spirit, positive attitude, and infectious vibe.

The Realty Austin Gold Hard Hat award recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond our mission to give back. Jeffrey Schnabel was this year’s recipient volunteering on-site for 10 weeks at the 5th Annual Realty Austin Habitat for Humanity home build, Foundation Communities Supper Clubs, and Austin Children’s Shelter Touch-a-Truck event.

The Realty Austin Heartbeat Award is given to an agent who fully embraces the culture of ‘work hard, play hard and give back’. The company named Melanie Fenelon as this year’s recipient. Since the first day she joined the company, Melanie has brought joy to the team and lights up the room with her heart and soul.

The Unsung Heroes award is bestowed upon individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes and consistently strive toward making Realty Austin a #1 top workplace. The company’s rock star Marketing team was this year’s recipient comprised of Brittanie MacLean, Erica Grandin, Brandon Krivohlavy, Brooke Kiella.

For the grand finale, the Realty Austin Most Valuable Player award was presented to the individual who contributed to Realty Austin as a whole in a significant way. The company honored Todd Bailey with this award noting he has the work-life balance mastered and is an inspiration to the entire team.
