    The Republic of Texas Biker Rally, otherwise known as ROT Rally, is the largest motorcycle rally in Texas and the fourth largest motorcycle rally in the US. Held every year on the weekend after Memorial Day, hundreds of bikers gather at the Travis County Expo Center and ride along the hilly roads of Austin for an entire weekend. On the Friday of that weekend, the City of Austin closes off parts of Congress Ave. for the largest biker party in a downtown area. In 2006, ROT Rally was awarded a Guinness World Record for being the “Longest Parade of Motorcycles Known to Mankind.”
