Austin Fall Home and Garden Show – August 13 – August 15
500 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78701
Adults $10 at the box office, adults $8 online-only. Kids 16 and under are free.   

Hosted at the Austin Convention Center, the Austin Fall Home and Garden Show is the perfect place to shop for home-related products, connect with industry experts, and get inspiration for your next home reno. Explore the many booths and unique feature displays that all homeowners can benefit from attending.

Outlaw Music Festival Tour – August 22

Willie Nelson is back on the road and touring with his friends such as Chris Stapleton, Ryan Bingham, and Yola. The tour begins in Austin and will be making stops across the country throughout the rest of the year.

ATX Black Food Week – August 24 – September 13

Hosted by the Austin Justice Coalition, ATX Black Food Week celebrates the community with food, drinks, and empowerment. Eat at the 21 restaurants and nine food trucks participating throughout August and September.

aGLIFF (All Genders, Lifestyles and Identities Film Festival) – August 26 – September 6

Attend is the oldest and largest gay and lesbian film festival in the Southwest this August and September. Events will be hosted over the course of two weeks and will showcase short films that spotlight the diverse Queer experience. 

16th Annual Bat Fest – August 28th
100 S. Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78704
Admission $20 in advance, $25 cash at the gate. Kids 8 and under free with an adult.

Watch as 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from under the Ann Richards Congress Ave Bridge at dusk. The festival will host two stages with live music, an area for arts & crafts vendors, local food and drinks, children’s activities, and even a bat costume contest.

Austin Train Show – August 28 – August 29
900 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78704
Admission for both days is $8 for Adults. Children 12 and under are free with an adult.

Explore over 25,000 square feet of model railroading at the Palmer Events Center! This train show is great for the entire family and will have operating model and lego railroads, a raffle, and a food court available.

Dripping Springs Bridal Expo – August 29
1042 Event Center Drive, Dripping Springs, TX 78620
Admission is $12.

Plan for your big day at the Dripping Spring Bridal Expo. See the latest bridal fashion up-close, sample cuisines and cakes, and get flower and decor inspiration. The event will have thousands in give-away and door prizes, and you’ll even receive a swag bag!
