Renegade Craft Hosts First Annual Renegade Craft Fair in Austin

Read time: < 1 minute

2003 took Chicago by surprise when Renegade coordinators, Sue Daly and Danny Orendorff, hosted their first annual event, The Renegade Craft Fair. By 2009, Renegade was a multi-city national event expanding to Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. And on May 15th, 2010, Renegade Craft Fair will host its first ever Austin-based event at the Palmer Events Center! The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both dates, May 15th and May 16th, 2010, and will feature hand-picked, juried artists screened to provide the best of what our nation’s handmade talent has to offer.

More information about The Renegade Craft Fair can be found on their Austin website,

The Palmer Events Center is located at 900 Barton Springs Road and free parking is conveniently found in the neighborhood just south of Barton Springs Road. While you’re there, you might want to check out all the cute houses on the market in Bouldin Creek, and maybe catch an open house or two.
