Realty Austin Awarded No. 1 Best Places to Work by Austin Business Journal

AUSTIN, TX—Realty Austin was named no. 1 Best Places to Work by the Austin Business Journal. The honor was presented to the 10 year old company at an awards ceremony held at the Renaissance Hotel on June 26, 2014 in Austin, Texas. A strong workplace culture, servant leadership model, and its mission of giving back to the community were noted as why Realty Austin was named as the no. 1 Best Places to Work 2014.

Jonathan Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, “As we continue to sharpen our strategy, our team of agents and their motivation to champion our company to be one of Austin’s Best Places to Work is astonishing. It is a privilege to lead a team full of dedicated, knowledgeable, and creative thinkers who are dedicated to providing positive results. We are grateful for their trust and willingness to collaborate with us.”

In his acceptance speech, Boatwright credited Marketing Director Brittanie Flegle for her enthusiastic ideas to boost workplace culture, and he thanked the company’s team of high-producing agents who provide superior service and market knowledge to clients.

Todd Grossman, Realty Austin’s perennial Top Producer said, “After meeting Jonathan and Yvette in 2008, I took a leap of faith with Realty Austin and have never looked back. Realty Austin saw the light at the end of the tunnel early, and they continue to work to be cutting edge. Today I am one of the top REALTORS® in Austin, and I can guarantee that would not have happened at any other company. It is the Best Place to Work.”

Yvette Boatwright, co-owner and CEO of Realty Austin said, “To be named No. 1 Best Places to Work is serendipitous this year. As we enter our 10th anniversary, it is with a sense of pride and accomplishment. It has been gratifying to see our culture evolve organically and the energy of the team grow stronger. Our core values remain at the heart of everything we do, and enables our team to make a difference in the lives of others.”

The company has positioned itself for continued strategic growth and leadership in Austin’s real estate market for years to come.

Boatwright concluded, “We’re just getting started.”

Through well-positioned locations in Central Austin, Northwest Austin, Southwest Austin, Lake Travis, and Westlake, the company has grown to a team of 263 agents and 32 support staff since its inception in 2004. Headquartered in Westlake, Realty Austin is the second highest producing agency in Austin with over $1.3 billion in sales in 2013.

This year marks the first time Realty Austin has been named no. 1 on the Austin Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list. In 2012 and 2013 the company placed third in the medium category.
