AUSTIN, TX— Realty Austin ranked No. 3 among large employers in the Austin American-Statesman‘s 2020 Top Workplaces of Greater Austin. The company’s powerhouse team of dedicated agents and support staff earned the company a top spot once again on the annual list. Realty Austin’s ability to overcome the difficulties of the pandemic, tech-savvy innovation, and its “family environment” were the top reasons cited for the rank.
This year marks the ninth time Realty Austin has appeared on the list published by the Austin American-Statesman that recognizes employers who stand for the best in leadership, vision, and culture. The large company category ranked employers with 500+ Central Texas employees. The Top Workplace project surveys over 23,000 workers from nearly 150 Austin-area employers.
Realty Austin’s top tier support team worked dynamically this year to provide the highest level of service to their 575+ top producing agents. In early March, the staff quickly transitioned to working remotely. Within days, the leadership team collaborated with top industry professionals to provide the necessary resources their agents would need to continue business safely during a pandemic.
Realty Austin closely monitored the real estate market trends to provide agents and their clients with the right resources for every step of the home buying and selling process. Realty Austin’s Vice President of Operations, Courtney Lepore, said about their pandemic game plan, “Our main role was to create a framework for our agents to make decisions. They looked to us (for guidance). We tried to create a framework and a process for doing business.”
Kelvin Glover, one of the firm’s top producers, said the Realty Austin leadership team “moved quickly to get ahead of the virus. We were already doing Zoom calls and virtual home tours even before the virus struck.”
