Realty Austin named Top Workplace for the seventh year in a row

AUSTIN, TX — For the seventh consecutive year, Realty Austin was voted by its staff among the metro area’s best places to work. The agency ranks No. 2 in the American-Statesman’s 2018 Top Workplaces of Greater Austin project. The company’s staff support and equal treatment to all, coupled with cutting-edge real estate technology and mission of giving back to the community were noted as top reasons Realty Austin received high marks on the annual list.

Jonathan Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, “This is a big year for our company as we continue to evolve and innovate our brand and technology. We are honored to have a team that is laser-focused on the future and agents who are paving the way as industry and community leaders in the Austin-area.”

The company placed second among the top 30 midsize companies with 150 to 499 employees in the Greater Austin area.

Yvette Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, “We love our agents and the communities we serve. We live our motto to the fullest, ‘Work Hard, Play Hard and Give Back.’ Our agents and staff work together daily to exceed client expectations on the work front and pull together to give back for the greater good of our communities.”

Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including organizational health, alignment, execution, connection, and employee engagement. Top Workplaces are divided into three categories: large companies with more than 500 local employees, midsize companies with 150 to 499 local employees, and small companies with fewer than 150 local employees.

Courtney Lepore, Vice President of Operations said, “Our agents are the core of our company and our leadership team works closely with them, as well as our employees, to gauge the pulse and evolve when needed. Being awarded as a Top Workplace validates that we are forging the right path.”

The Top Workplace lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.

Realty Austin was awarded the no. 1 spot on the Top Workplace list by Austin American-Statesman in years 2016, 2013, and 2012. This year marks the seventh time the company has appeared on the annual Top Workplace list.
