Second Largest Real Estate Broker Was Awarded as the 7th Fastest Growing Company in Austin

AUSTIN, TXRealty Austin, the second largest residential real estate firm in Austin, announced it ranked 7th in the Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 list for 2013. The company was awarded this distinction in the large category of companies with revenue of $10 million or above. The Austin Business Journal announced the winners at the annual awards ceremony held at the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center on October 17, 2013.

Realty Austin was recognized amongst leading Austin companies that demonstrated year-over-year revenue increases for three years. Over the three year period 2010-2012, Realty Austin’s growth rate was 97.40%. Out of the 25 finalists with $10 million or greater net revenue, Realty Austin ranked 7th in the large company category.

Jonathan Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, “To be recognized by the Austin Business Journal in the top ten again, is a great achievement for our team. Realty Austin has continued to grow in an industry that has seen many local businesses struggle through the housing downturn. I feel honored to be able to work with such an amazing support staff and high performing group of real estate professionals in the best housing market in the country.”

Each year, the Austin Business Journal publishes the list of the fastest growing companies in Austin and hosts a private reception to honor them. According to the publisher, the winners on the Fast 50 list this year represent a cross section of different industries.

Boatwright concluded, “In this booming economy, Realty Austin celebrates being recognized as the only residential real estate company on the list. Last year we ranked #6, even though our growth rate was slightly lower at 93.3% for three year period 2009-2011.”

Yvette Boatwright said, “Our growth and success at Realty Austin are the result of our support staff’s ongoing commitment to servant leadership. We were recently recognized as the Austin Business Journal’s 3rd Best Place to Work, which we feel has a great deal to do with our rapid growth and agent enthusiasm.”

This year marks the second time Realty Austin has been a top ten winner of the Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 award and Best Places to Work award.
