Realty Austin Powers Up to No. 63 on RISMedia Power Broker Report

Realty Austin Ranks as One of the Nation’s Top-Producing Brokerage Firms in RISMedia’s 2019 Power Broker Report

AUSTIN, TX—Austin’s #1 independent real estate brokerage, Realty Austin, powers up to the No. 63 real estate firm in the U.S. in sales volume, according to the 31st Annual Power Broker 500 Report. Realty Austin reported a total sales volume of $2,842,129,874 in 2018, representing 7,041 closed residential transactions.

This report is an annual ranking of the nation’s top residential real estate brokerage firms by RISMedia. The prestigious honor was awarded to the country’s top real estate powerhouses based on closed transactions and sales volume for 2018. The Power Broker List represents the most comprehensive look at the real estate industry and provides these firms a distinction in their respective marketplace.

2019 marks the 7th year Realty Austin has appeared on the list of the Top 500 Power Broker firms in the U.S. according to sales volume. The company rose 3 spots to No. 63 on this year’s list.

Highlights from the 2019 Power Broker Report & Survey include:

  • 49% of the Power Brokers described their market conditions as “Stable” and 27% described them as “Growing”
  • 37% of the Power Brokers believe first-time homebuyers and millennials are their greatest opportunity.
  • While shortage of inventory continues to be the biggest challenge for Power Brokers, the percent dropped from 71% to 49% this year.

The Top 1,000 2019 Power Brokers collectively earned more than $1.4 billion in sales volume in 2018, more than $100 billion above 2017. In addition, they completed more than 3.8 million transactions and represent more than 515,000 agents and over 8,800 offices.
