Austin’s Best Place to Work Kicks Off 8th Annual Realty Austin Home Build

AUSTIN, TX — Realty Austin, the #1 Best Place to Work in Austin, raised the walls on its 8th Annual Austin Habitat for Humanity home build. In a partnership with its agents, the company pledged to volunteer 2,400 hours and donate over $100,000 to sponsor a home for the Tovar Family.

Realty Austin and Austin Habitat For Humanity began the build with a wall-raising ceremony on the morning of Wednesday, September 18. The company’s Humanitarian Award recipients: Jeffrey Schnabel and Cara Keenan led the volunteer team on its first day. To participate in the build and support the Tovar family, please donate here.

Yvette Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, “Paula Tovar’s devotion to her family shines through to everyone who meets her. Since moving here from Mexico nearly 20 years ago, Paula has two children while supporting her aging parents. She has worked extremely hard – currently holding two jobs. Until now, Paula has been unable to set down permanent roots because the cost of living in Austin is so high.”

Paula is grateful to the Realty Austin team for supporting the building of her home, which she calls an “incredible opportunity.” She is excited to be onsite with the Realty Austin team this fall so she can reciprocate their positive energy and enthusiasm while working together!
