Austin’s #1 Top Workplace Expands its Hyper-local Presence in Southwest Austin

AUSTIN, TXRealty Austin, the #1 independent residential real estate firm in Austin, is opening its newest location in the heart of the Dripping Springs community at Highway 290 & Mercer in the Pioneer Bank Building. Although the office is new to the area, the company is not. For the past year, Realty Austin has achieved #1 in market share in Dripping Springs, 78620, and the HD area of the Austin MLS (Multiple Listing Service).

The company believes the reason they are #1 is the caliber of its Dripping Springs agents like Burt Dement who grew up in Driftwood and graduated from Dripping Springs High School in 1995. Since joining Realty Austin in 2010, Dement’s sales have increased 1,200% and the company’s systems and support help him enjoy an optimal work-life balance with his wife Lynn, and daughters Avery, Alison, and June. Watch this video to see how Realty Austin transformed his business.

Dement said, “Dripping Springs continues to be an attractive, sought-after place to live for relocation from within Austin or anywhere. We are surrounded by great neighborhoods and top-rated schools. The quality of life it offers is second to none in my opinion. I am excited to be a part of Realty Austin becoming an integral part of the growing community that I’ve called home for over 39 years.”

Realty Austin believes a hyper-local office with high traffic visibility will help its agents make an even bigger impact on the local market. Over 20 local agents are already actively selling homes in the Dripping Springs area, many of the company’s Top 10 Producers including Dement, Melanie Fenelon, Mark and France Clausen.

Marc Warshawsky, Realty Austin Market Manager, said, “The growth in Travis County and Hays County has been explosive and well documented both locally and covered on national news. Realty Austin offers real advantages to its customers because of our strong culture, professional agents, collaborative environment, systems of support, and the #1 home search website”

Since 2012 Warshawsky has been the Southwest Market Manager at Realty Austin. Prior to that he was a top producing REALTOR® and earned his GRI and Broker designations. He brings over 20 years experience in the computer industry, a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and a Master’s of Acoustics from Penn State University. Warshawsky’s technology skills and leadership experience were sharpened in his early career as Director of Mobile Business for AMD and VP of Product Development at Netpliance.

Warshawsky will serve as the new Dripping Springs Market Manager and continue to oversee the Southwest Market Center. The office will be supported by office manager Chelsea Ehlert who is transferring from the company’s Southwest location on William Cannon.

The new Dripping Springs location expands Realty Austin’s footprint in Central Texas, adding to its existing locations in Downtown Austin, Westlake, Lake Travis, Round Rock, East, Southwest and Northwest Austin. Since its inception in 2004, the company has grown to a team of 400 full-time agents and 28 support staff.

The Realty Austin Dripping Springs roster is comprised of Mark and France Clausen, Burt Dement, Melanie Fenelon, Randy Bailey, Michelle Batte, Alexia Dauterive, Clark Gray, Karen Hoffman, Ruth Lunday, Gigi McClaskey, Jana McCool, Lisa McGuire, Weslea O’Connor, Martha Olmos, Matt Pariseau, Audrey Pudder, Susan Remerscheid, Melissa Roberts, Betsy Smith, Sandra Steele, and Kelli Whirlow.

Realty Austin believes Dripping Springs is an ideal fit for its next new office because of the strong community. Realty Austin is known for giving back in a big way, and its big-hearted agents are often found actively engaged within communities making a difference. Since 2010 Realty Austin has volunteered over 9,000 hours, donated over $600,000 of commissions, and raised over $100,000 from industry partners to support organizations Foundation Communities, Austin Habitat for Humanity and Austin Children’s Shelter.

The company’s workspaces are well-located in Class A retail space. True to its homegrown roots, Realty Austin sourced to local companies to continue its fresh office design. Kelle Contine Interior Design and Michael Schembri’s Artwork is featured in all new and existing offices.

Realty Austin Dripping Springs is located in the Pioneer Bank building at 100 Creek Rd, Dripping Springs, TX 78620.
