13 More Become Home Builders, Adding to the Growing Roster of 67 Who Pay It Forward with Multi-Year Pledges From the Realty Austin Team

AUSTIN, TXRealty Austin and Foundation Communities have come together to raise over $656,000 in total funds at this year’s Virtual Welcome Home Luncheon. 100% of the dollars raised will support Foundation Communities programs for education, financial stability, and healthy living. With the help of Realty Austin’s $75,000 match fund, more than 30,000 Austinites will have a safe place to lean on and call home.

Through the Welcome Home Luncheon event, Foundation Communities brings awareness and solutions to Austin’s affordable housing crisis. Since opening its doors in 1990, the local nonprofit has housed over 6,000 families and individuals within its 23 affordable housing communities. Along with housing, they provide residents and neighbors with resources they can use to obtain a better quality of life.

Yvette Boatwright, Realty Austin Co-owner said, “Our work is not done.
