Realty Austin Powers Up REAL Trends 500 Annual Report

$2.25B Sales Volume in 2016 Increased Austin’s #1 Independent Firm’s Top 100 Rank to #79 of the Nation’s Most Powerful Real Estate Brokerages

AUSTIN, TXRealty Austin, the #1 independent real estate firm in Austin, solidified its place as one of the nation’s Top 100 most powerful residential real estate brokerages on the REAL Trends 500. The company powered up to no. 79 on the 2017 REAL Trends 500 report as a result of its $2.25 billion sales volume from 6,069 closed transaction sides in 2016.

The REAL Trends 500 is an annual research report which identifies the country’s largest and most successful residential firms as ranked by closed sales volume and separately by closed transaction sides. Realty Austin is the no. 1 largest independent firm in Central Texas, and no. 2 overall in the Austin metro area.

REAL Trends 500 remains the trusted source for information about the performance of these brokerages and firms due to the requirement that all information be independently verified. For the 2017 REAL Trends report, firms needed to close a minimum of 1,843 transaction sides in 2016 to place in the top 500.

This year marks the third time Realty Austin has appeared in the Top 100 on the annual REAL Trends 500 report. The company ranked no. 90 in 2016 and no. 95 in 2015.
