Belterra

Conveniently located just 20 minutes away from downtown Austin off Highway 290, the community of Belterra sits just 7 miles past the Y at Oak Hill. Established in 2003, Belterra consists of 11 different sections, each having unique lot sizes and homes varying in both age and style. Situated in the heart of Belterra is Rooster Springs Elementary, which is part of the award winning Dripping Springs ISD. Dripping Springs High School, located just 8 miles away, was also rated the 52nd high school in all of Texas by U.S. News.

Belterra is home to hundreds of acres of parks, playgrounds, creeks and trails making the 1,600 acre community feel more like a 1,600 acre playground. Located just 15 minutes away, the Hill Country Galleria provides residents of Belterra easy access to shopping and dining. Along with the various wineries, breweries and distilleries, some of the more notable restaurants in Dripping Springs include Pieous, Nutty Brown Café and Trudy’s Tex Mex.  From exercise groups to play date groups, book clubs and wine drinking clubs, this neighborhood offers many ways to get involved with the community and meet new people. It’s the perfect place to have that country living lifestyle without being too far from the city.

Highpointe

Tucked away off Highway 290 and through the majestic Texas Hill Country lies the gated community of Highpointe. With homes sprawled across all 740 acres, homes in this community are equipped with large lots and plenty of unique floor plans to choose from. Home builders here include Buffington Homes, Scott Felder Homes, Standard Pacific Homes and Wilshire Homes. Children of this community can addend campuses within the Dripping Springs ISD, or choose from several top private schools nearby.

Residents of Highpointe have access to the resident clubhouse which features three pools, two levels of workout equipment, a kitchen and a children’s water park. With such a wide range of amenities offered, there’s something for everyone. Local attractions include the Austin Zoo, Pedernales Falls State Park, Hamilton Pool, and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.

Polo Club

The Polo Club is an elite tennis club located 18 miles southwest of downtown Austin, just off Highway 290. Homes within this gated community average around 4,000 square feet, with most of them valued at over half a million dollars. All homes in this community have been custom built since 1996.

Rated as one of the best in the Hill Country, the Polo Club offers amazing amenities including their renowned tennis club, an equestrian center, fitness facilities, and a community pool. Located not too far away in Driftwood is the infamous Salt Lick BBQ and Trattoria Lisina. The Polo Club is a unique equestrian gated community. It contains a first class equestrian center, with existing stables, and many home sites are large enough to accommodate horses and stables on the property. If you have a love for horses or tennis, this is the perfect neighborhood to call home.

Sunset Canyon

Sunset Canyon Community

Ideally located between Dripping Springs and Austin, Sunset Canyon remains one of the oldest neighborhoods in Dripping Springs. Homes in this community typically sit on lots larger than one acre, providing plenty of privacy between neighbors. There are currently more than 700 homes in the community with construction of the first homes starting in the 1980s.

Dripping Springs schools are second to none. With only one high school, middle school and elementary school, Dripping Springs ISD remains one of the top districts in the state. The Dripping Springs post office and library are both 8 minutes away, along with an HEB and a Home Depot. Sunset Canyon is the perfect neighborhood for anyone looking for that Hill Country lifestyle. It’s filled with friendly residents, excellent schools, gorgeous scenery, and many award winning wineries, distilleries and breweries nearby.

Rim Rock

Rim Rock is a community located 10 minutes from Dripping Springs between Southwest Austin and Driftwood off FM 1826. Home sites in Rim Rock are a minimum of one acre with the neighborhood taking on more of a rural setting. New and resale homes are available in this community and offer about 2,500 to 5,000 square feet of living space. Rim Rock is part of Dripping Springs ISD, which receives recognition yearly for being one of the top districts in the state.

Lots of beautiful greenbelts and about 6 miles of hiking and biking trails can be found within this neighborhood, but the greatest amenity that Rim Rock has to offer are the unparalleled views. Sprawled throughout the Hill Country are several wineries including Driftwood Vineyards, Duchman Winery, and Wimberley Valley Winery. Rim Rock is perfect if you love the Texas Hill Country lifestyle but still want an easy access to Austin.
