Fun Culture, Tireless Innovation, and Servant Leadership Attract Millennials and Veterans of Real Estate to the Austin Original

AUSTIN, TX–Realty Austin wins no. 1 Best Places to Work in Central Texas by the Austin Business Journal for the second consecutive year. The company’s fun culture, tireless innovation, and its mission of giving back to the community were noted as why Realty Austin was named as the no. 1 Best Places to Work 2015.

Jonathan Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said as he accepted the first place award, “Everyone knows that our real estate agents are the best in town. But our support staff are the true rockstars – working behind the scenes tirelessly to help our agents succeed every single day.”

The residential real estate brokerage was the honored top winner at the Vegas-themed luncheon on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Austin. ABJ’s Best Places to Work list identifies the top workplaces in Central Texas. Companies are ranked in four categories using criteria by an independent rating agency. Qualifying companies are measured based upon key performance in areas of leadership and management, workplace environment, compensation and benefits, and growth and development.

Yvette Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, “Fun and hard work are not mutually exclusive at Realty Austin. Our team of agents and our incredible staff truly make our company the best place to work. We work hard, play hard, and make it a priority to give back to the community.”

Through well-positioned locations in Downtown, Westlake, Lake Travis, Southwest, Northwest, and East Austin, the company has grown to a team of 325 agents and 30 support staff since its inception in 2004. Headquartered in West Lake Hills, Realty Austin is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and ranks as Austin’s highest producing independent agency with over $1.65B in sales in 2014.

Courtney Lepore, Vice President of Operations said, “We keep it simple and work to automate our systems with an ‘easy button’ for our agents. The company culture is passionate about helping others succeed at work and in the community, and that team spirit resonates to our customers. Our culture has organically grown into a ‘way of life’ which makes working feel like hanging out with friends.”

This year marks the second consecutive year Realty Austin has been named no. 1 on the Austin Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list. In 2012 and 2013 the company placed third in the medium category.
