It seems like Austin is included in “Top 10” lists almost every day. Recently, MarketWatch.com, an online property of the Wall Street Journal, named Austin, TX number one on its “Best Places for Growing Businesses” in the country. This probably doesn’t come as a huge surprise if you’ve been following the ebullient press about Texas’ resillient local and state economies, especially throughout the Great Recession. But to be named the best place in the country for growing business is something to take pride in. Pat yourself on the back, Austin. You’re doing great!
