360 Tower leads 2010 Austin Downtown Sales

Read time: 1 minute

As Downtown Austin continues to grow, condo sales doubled in 2010 and prices are staying remarkably stable. In fact, prices were merely 1% lower than 2009, making last year one of Austin’s best years for downtown residential growth. As more and more downtown Austin living options become available, many condo towers are starting to fill up.

As Benjamin noted in today’s Free Lunch Friday, the Austin 360 tower had the most sales in 2010, with 38 condos sold. One of Austin’s most stunning condo towers, the Austin 360 Condominiums Tower was built in 2007 and stands 563 feet tall, with 430 homes and 14,000 square feet of retail space.

On top of being centrally located nearby restaurants & bars, the 360 Tower is conveniently located across the street from Austin Music Hall, one of the greatest venues in town. At last year’s SXSW, the Flaming Lips put on a one-of-a-kind show there full of balloons, confetti, silly string, & laser pointers!
