Each year Realty Austin drives home its mission to give back to the community whole-heartedly. This holiday season, the team was inspired to go above and beyond by kicking off drives to support and answer the calling to help change lives. Proving that drives are powerful when shared in numbers, Realty Austin agents collected food, socks, backpacks and books, for our neighbors right here at home. Giving Back Northwest Food Drive Realty Austin Northwest agents answered the call extended to them by fellow colleague and agent Dori Garner. Led by Dori, the team doubled their impact on Northwest Austin communities this holiday season by hosting a charitable food drive. Because of their hard work and dedication, the food pantry Feed the Community located at Gateway Church is over-flowing with supplies. Volunteer agents collected and delivered over 10,000 bags for the pantry to support local hunger needs. Food drive leaders whose efforts made a true difference to their community this season are: the Avery Ranch team (Drew Griffin, Josh Schneck and Kevin McCord 3500 bags) and the Lakeline Group of Realty Austin (Dori Garner, Kevin McCarthy and Israel Gutierrez 3000 bags). Agents also helping the cause were Chris Tinnell (900 bags); Amy Gandy (450 bags); David Morris (250); and the Ealy Team (Lockie and Warren Ealy 100). Industry friends and community leaders helped support the cause: Supreme Lending, Patten Law Firm, Locktite, Heavenly Movers, Maggories, Sprouts, Whole Foods, and Realty Austin. Sock Drive Realty Austin team also launched the 1st Annual Heart & Sole Sock Drive to aid during the cooler months. The team donated over 600 pairs of socks to feet across Austin. All sock donations were distributed to local food pantries such as Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Capital Area Food Bank, and Feed the Community.
