2013 Summer Movie Nights in Austin

Austinites make the most of our parks, whether it’s planning a picnic, listening to a band or watching a movie, we know how to spend time outside in our beautiful city. This summer everyone has plenty of opportunities to catch a concert or a flick at one of the many outdoor venues in Austin, TX. Starting in June, we turn Austin’s parks, pools, and lawns into outdoor theaters suitable for all ages and four-legged friends. However, if you want to cozy up on a blanket and watch a classic film or new summer hit movie, head to one of the following venues and enjoy a night under the stars.

Movies in the Park

Every year between May and November you can enjoy FREE films in Republic Square Park brought to you by the Austin Parks Foundation and Alamo Drafthouse! Bring chairs, blankets, pets and picnics and catch some classics!

Summer Cinema takes place every other Wednesday at the North Location of Central Market. It’s FREE, all thanks to Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow as well as other sponsors! Quench your thirst with a Blue Moon for $2.50 and grub on some food from Central Market.
